How does recognizing patterns help us make predictions?

You will investigate the above genres and determine
how the elements of a genre can relate to current events.
You will read two books within one of the genres listed or a combination of the genres listed.
You may read alone, with another, or in groups.
You will be responsible for :
Keeping a reading log
Bringing your book to class
Completing a PLOT PARADE for book one
Locating and sharing elements of a genre and of a story
Explaining how genre predicts specific expectations
Reading at least two books
Expanding the patterns of a genre to current events . Possibly research
Book One - For the first book in a genre,
complete the papers "The plot parade"
and "The Elements of..."
Book Two - If it is the first book in the genre -
do "Elements of ..."
If this is your second book in the same genre
you complete "Attention, All".
Book Three - For your third book you will complete
"Final Comments" .
